Job Description
Electrical Assemblers’ duties include crimping, soldering, and wire routing for helicopter cable, wire harness and Electro-mechanical fabrication in accordance with manufacturing procedures and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
Essential Functions & Competencies
Ability to use AMP, D.M.C and Molex hand crimpers and/or Crimping machines to meet or exceed IPC-620 guidelines.
Ability to solder thru-hole PC boards and D-subminiature connectors.
Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) prevention methods and IPC-620 guidelines for electronics manufacturing acceptance/defect criteria.
Ability to use signal generators, oscilloscopes, volt-meters, and other test equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
Basic mathematic skills include but are not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for calculating material fabrication.
Must be capable of using calipers and basic measuring tools.
Full compliance with the Company’s DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Experience Desired
2 years of experience or more.
Pay Range
$20.00 -$35.00/per hour
