Quality Assurance Inspector
Job Description
Quality Assurance Inspectors conduct inspections during the production process using pre-determined methods during the manufacture and/or repair of helicopters to ensure products meet prescribed quality standards.
Essential Functions & Competencies
Perform quality assessment of in-process parts, assemblies & installations using drawings, inspection planning & specifications.
Ability to measure product dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height gages, scales, and other precision measuring devices.
Thoroughness and attention to detail along with the ability to work with limited supervision.
Basic mathematic skills including but are not limited to: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, algebra and geometry for performing inspection setups and dimensional layout.
Good communication skills, verbal and written, to provide descriptive reports of non-conformances.
Full compliance with the company’s DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Prefer 2-10 years of experience.
Pay Range
$22.00 – $35.00/per hour
