Job Description
Robinson Helicopter is a leading manufacturer of civil rotorcraft with a 50-year history of providing affordable helicopters for a wide range of applications. The Engineering and Certification Administrative Assistant is a member of the engineering department responsible for providing administrative support to the engineering team. This role provides an important interface between Robinson Helicopter and aviation safety agencies around the world. As an integral member of the engineering team, the Administrative Assistant provides leadership to ensure effective and efficient division operations.
Responsibilities
Supports the development and certification of Robinson Helicopter products by: organizing and submitting applications, certification document packages, and other technical data to aviation safety organizations around the world.
Creating and tracking correspondence
Facilitating meetings between RHC and certification authorities
Maintain project files and records
Manage engineering documents including specifications, reports, and technical data, ensuring RHC procedures are followed.
Facilitates development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure systems are effective and provide superior organization, efficiency, and adherence to industry best practices.
Coordinate special projects including tracking actions items and deliverables.
Prepare engineering data, generate spreadsheets, and prepare reports to support Engineering and Certification.
Prepare agendas, create presentations, and documents meeting minutes.
Schedules meetings, arranges travel, processes expense reports, and ensures efficient use of engineering resources.
Prepare engineering purchase requisitions, tracks orders, and reports status on engineering purchases.
Maintain office supply inventory.
Addresses internal and external inquiries.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business, technical, or communication field.
Experience as an Administrative Assistant.
Advanced technological fluency across a wide range of tools and platforms including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to rapidly adapt to changing environments and anticipate the needs of the organization.
Advanced thinking & interpersonal skills including: leadership, collaboration, resiliency, strategic thinking, diplomatic, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, judgment, and business acumen.
Must be a proven self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Excellent academic record.
Understanding of engineering processes and principles.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with InDesign.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
Project management experience.
Pay Range
$27.00 – $38.50/per hour
